Purpose
The purpose of this Governance and Operation Management Policy is to provide clear guidance to the governing body and key personnel about their responsibilities, duties, and the need for continuous improvement in management practices.
The policy supports the inclusion of people with disabilities in the governance of the organisation and ensures that strategic business planning meets legislative, financial, regulatory, and contractual requirements while focusing on the needs of participants and workers.
Scope
This Policy is applicable to all Workers affiliated with St Anastasia's Care. It is the responsibility of every individual, regardless of their employment status, to fully comprehend and comply with the commitments outlined in this policy.

Participant Inclusion in Governance
Opportunities are provided for people with disability to contribute to the governance of the organisation and have input into the development of organisational policy and processes.
Defined Governance Structure
A defined structure is implemented by the governing body to meet governance obligations, including financial accountability, risk management and performance monitoring.
Strategic Business Planning
Strategic business planning meets legislative, financial, regulatory, and contractual requirements while focusing on the needs of participants and workers.
Continuous Improvement
The governing body ensures systems are in place for continuous quality improvement, reflecting feedback from participants, workers, and the broader community.
Incident Management
Robust incident management systems are maintained to identify, report, manage, and learn from incidents to protect participants and improve services.
Worker Screening and Training
All workers are appropriately screened, trained, and supervised to deliver safe and effective support aligned to NDIS Practice Standards.
