Common Questions About Our Services
Quick answers to the questions participants and families most often ask before getting started.
Do I need an NDIS plan to access your services?
Most of our services are available to NDIS participants with an approved plan. However, some supports — including aged care, domestic assistance, and private nursing — are also available to clients who are self-funded or accessing services through other funding streams. Contact us to discuss your situation.
How do I know which services are covered by my NDIS plan?
Our team will review your NDIS plan with you and identify which support categories align with the services you need. We're experienced in navigating plan budgets and will help you get the most from your funding without overspending.
Can I change or add services as my needs change?
Yes. Your support plan is flexible and can be updated as your goals, circumstances, or NDIS plan change. We'll work with your support coordinator or LAC to adjust services without disrupting your existing routine.
What happens on the first day of support?
Before your first session, we'll complete a care planning meeting — either in person or by phone — to understand your goals, preferences, and any medical or personal considerations. Your support worker will be briefed and introduced to you ahead of the first visit.
Are your support workers qualified and background-checked?
All Sydney Care Support staff hold relevant qualifications, current NDIS Worker Screening clearances, and First Aid certification. Many hold additional training in complex care, medication administration, and behaviour support.
Do you provide services across all of Sydney?
Yes. We deliver services across the Sydney metropolitan area including the Sutherland Shire, Inner West, Western Sydney, Northern Suburbs, and Eastern Suburbs. Contact us to confirm coverage in your specific area.
